Heading Into The Holidays With Joy, Hope, & Peace

Every year around this time, I like to do something different than my typical newsletter. I feel people can always use a little inspiration heading into the holidays so I just wanted to share what’s on my heart and say:

You Are Enough!!!

Have you ever struggled with believing this, or felt as if you were losing ground and moving backwards? You compare your life and yourself to those around you and wish you had it all together like everyone else seems to. You feel like your progress isn’t matching up to what you had envisioned for yourself. Maybe you wish you were a better parent, a better partner, in better shape, or in a better career.

Well, I’m here to tell you that you are enough!!! Exactly as you are, and exactly where you are.

Despite what you may think, you are strong, hard working, loving, and trying your best. The truth is, we all have bad days (or sometimes months) - times that test our strength and resolve. But so much of this suffering comes from comparing ourselves to others or wishing we were somewhere we’re not. When we stop holding our lives up against the lives of others and start realizing that where we are is exactly where we’re meant to be, we can open our hearts to being excited and grateful for what we have, who we share it with, and the lessons and joy of our current environment. We’re constantly sold the idea that we need to wait for happiness - that once we have nicer clothes, a new car, a promotion, or a fitter body, THEN we’ll be happy. But the truth is, our mindset it the only thing holding us back from claiming happiness NOW.

This holiday season, and heading into the new year, I encourage you to be kinder to yourself and more grateful to your journey. Be proud of how far you’ve come, the person you are, and the person you’re working to become. There will always be someone in better shape, someone with nicer things, someone that's better looking, someone with more money, or someone that's (seemingly) a better parent. Realize the purpose of life isn't to compete with others, it's to wake up each day and try to be a better version of ourselves than we were the day before.

I am so grateful to have helped so many of you this year in achieving your real estate goals and want to extend a sincere congratulations to those who said YES to their dream of homeownership, investment, or relocation this year. For those who are still dreaming, I can’t wait to meet you at the front door in the coming years. Wherever you are on your path to homeownership, I’m here to support you and truly appreciate your trust and continued support. Without amazing clients like you, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do and provide for my family.

For those who may be experiencing tough times this holiday season, please know that my heart goes out to you. The holidays can be a hard time with many facing health issues, the loss of a loved one, the loss of financial security or job security, struggles with addiction, or relationships upheaval. If you're facing trials this year, I hope you'll find a sense of comfort and peace with family and friends that love you and are there to give you that extra support.

Wishing you all a joyful and happy Thanksgiving!
